Go Joonas go!!

BDT Member and super friend Joonas Kylmäkorpi was at gate 3 in the final lap yesterday with Jason Crump, Jaroslaw Hampel (number two in the word championship) and his team mate Piotr Protasiewicz . The score was tie and Jonas and his team Indianerna needed 5-1 or at least 4-2 to win and secure the serie lead. Joonas Kylmäkorpi gets out last after a miserable start but fools the two times world champion Jason Crump in the second corner and get the point that was needed to win the fight.

Our best friend and long-track world champion Joonas Kylmakorpi are racing in Groningen( it took Google search engine 5 min to find it) this weekend. This flying finn still leads this years long-track championship and later in August he will race at the GP Challenge, the final round fighting for the few remaining exclusive places for a permanent place in the Speedway Grand prix next year. This has always been BDT's dream to get Joonas Kylmakorpi to the Speedway Grand prix, were he belongs.

..at the the track with Greg Hancock, Joonas Kylmakorpi,Ryan Sullivan, Rune Holta and Sebastian Ulamek that had to leave the competition with a broken shoulder.

I got these photos on email this morning from my best friend Joonas Kylmakorpi with the few words "You feel that you are alive". BDTs crash king Joonas got in a tight corner in Peterborough England yesterday and there wasn't just room enough..BANG! CRASH! Although Kylmakorpi was able to race in the re-run and won it.
